About Us

Edumana College of Health Sciences and Technology Bida is a community-based effort, conceived to fill existing gap in the provision of training facilities for health care personnel in Niger state in particular and Nigeria at large. The consequence of dearth of this kind of facilities is the non-availability of skilled manpower to man our primary health care facilities across the LGAs in the state.
It was at this point that stakeholders led by our Royal father the Etsu Nupe Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar CFR (Chairman Niger state Council of Traditional Rulers) resolved to have this College established Bida - a central location easily accessible to all the LGAs in the state.
The College has since moved to its permanent site at kilometre 5, Bida - Minna Road. The College was incorporated in Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration certificate RC 1434279.
